Brick-and-mortar retailers are taking advantage of the Big Data revolution to measure and improve stores just like e-commerce sites do. We want to know and hear about all the other ways Big Data is changing the world.
Starting today, Tuesday, Nov 13 through Tuesday, Nov 20 (at midnight ET), we will be hosting the #BoldBigData Twitter Contest.

Here’s how to enter
Via Twitter, simply state how you think Big Data is changing the world (in 140 characters or fewer), then follow these 3 easy steps:
- Follow @RetailNext & mention @RetailNext in your tweet.
- Use the #BoldBigData hashtag.
- Link to this specific blog post.
Each tweet with the above requirements will count as an eligible entry. Here’s an example of the kind of #BoldBigData ideas we’re looking for:

Think BOLD. Think BIG. Think DATA. Once you’ve tweeted with the requirements above, you will be entered into a drawing to win a brand, new iPad Mini. The winner will be announced on Twitter and via Direct Message (DM) on Thursday, Nov 22 (just think, one less gadget to buy!).
A few rules: Please limit to 3 entries/tweets per day. Each tweet must have a different idea. The contest will run from November 13 through November 20 at midnight Eastern Time.
