Black Friday and Cyber Monday are evolving, and with the inclusion of Thanksgiving, they really represent a 5-day shopping event. But, the impact of those two days on the retail landscape remains significant.

There’s no denying that Black Friday and Cyber Monday have changed retail, from both the retailers’ and shoppers’ perspectives. And, yes, those changes haven’t necessarily been for the better.

In the infographic below, retailer Carvaka takes us down the journey of the immeasurable impact Black Friday and Cyber Monday have had on the U.S. retail landscape.
