In a show that’s all about big news, some of the biggest news at the National Retail Federation’s annual The BIG Show a couple of weeks ago centered on the advances in RFID solutions for retailers. RetailNext was a large part of that news, as it and partners BT, Intel, SATO Global Solutions and NexGen announced the formation of the Acuitas Digital alliance, offering integrated Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to retailers around the globe.
The Internet of Things has rapidly descended on our everyday lives, from smart cities to smart appliances, and with RFID in particular, it’s quickly changing the ways retailers optimize their shopping experiences.
