Today Retail Week, the UK’s largest retail publication, announced the finalists for its 2013 Technology Awards. One of the finalists is American Apparel, named for the clothier’s use of in-store analytics from RetailNext. Winners will be announced on June 19.
This award joins a cluster of recognition for RetailNext. In his ClickZ article, IBM’s CTO of Digital Media Big Data Krishnan Parasuraman mentions how American Apparel uses RetailNext to increase sales. And the Future of Commerce summarized my recent article in Chain Store Age about how to use in-store analytics to combat showrooming.
And finally, RetailNext has been short listed for the Big Data Innovation Awards from the Big Data Innovation Summit. Winners will be announced tonight, so keep your fingers crossed.
