From September 29 through October 1, over 5,000 retail professionals will descend upon Seattle for the annual Shop.org Summit, an event specifically facilitated for digital and multichannel retailers. As the leader in providing big data solutions to brick-and-mortar retailers, RetailNext will be there as well, exhibiting at booth #138.
At the booth, RetailNext will be showing its innovative platform, and conducting product demos for a variety of “omnichannel” retailer needs. The robust platform and its APIs incorporate the widest possible set of data streams, and empower retailers to not just improve store performance, but to improve the shopper experience, the critical foundation in building and nurturing long-term relationships with loyal shoppers.
Omnichannel is all the word in the retailing business this year, and it will be the buzzword extraordinaire in Seattle during the Summit. Don’t get so caught up in the word you forget what it means – shopping. It’s how shoppers shop, and the complete retail experience is a blend of touchpoints, aka channels, and includes both physical and online stores, along with a wealth of informational and conversational channels.
As part of the Shop.org Summit agenda, George Shaw, RetailNext’s head of research and development, will be leading a discussion in the Exhibitor BIG !deas series, with a thirty-minute session entitled, “Technology & the Redefined Store of the Future.” George’s presentation will be at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, September 30, in the BIG !deas Room in the EXPO Hall.
If you’re planning on attending the Shop.org Summit, be certain to set some time aside to visit the both the booth (#138) and George’s discussion. And, if you’re not planning on attending … what are you waiting for? Make your plans now for one of the biggest retail shows of the year.
