People Experience, Product Manager

EMEA

People Experience, Product Manager

Reports to: Chief People Officer
Location: Remote (Global)

Role Overview

We’re seeking a People Experience Product Manager to design and optimize our complete employee lifecycle as a strategic product. This role treats the employee experience as our third core product alongside our retail analytics software and financial performance, creating experiences that fuel both individual growth and accelerated business success.

You’ll operate as a senior individual contributor with product management discipline: owning the Employee Experience roadmap, driving execution through cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring measurable business impact. Working within our 13-person People Team (HR, Recruitment, People Ops, IT, and Legal), you’ll build solutions that help people thrive—directly enabling the company to perform at its best.

What You’ll Own

Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Act as a Senior IC with full responsibility for managing the Employee Experience roadmap and ensuring delivery with the rigor of a product manager.
  • Partner closely with the CPO (based in California), with regular overlap sessions to align on priorities and execution.
  • Take a hands-on approach: work directly with HR, Recruitment, People Ops, IT, and Legal to translate challenges into solutions and deliver with impact.
  • Champion transformation initiatives using Lean Startup principles, ensuring Employee Experience work creates real business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the CPO on strategy while independently managing execution across multiple workstreams.

Employee Experience Product Management

  • Design end-to-end employee lifecycle experiences (onboarding, growth, recognition, progression, exits) that elevate both employee fulfillment and business performance.
  • Apply product management practices (roadmap prioritization, sprints, MVP testing) to Employee Experience initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders (GTM, Product, Engineering) to ensure frameworks scale across the business.
  • Balance strategic design and hands-on delivery: from shaping frameworks to drafting comms, running discovery, and testing adoption.

Data & Employee Experience Measurement

  • Own the employee experience analytics strategy: collect, analyze, and interpret data across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, growth, engagement, retention) to inform decisions and demonstrate business impact.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for leaders and the People Team.
  • Create measurement systems that identify friction, celebrate wins, and show progress against employee experience goals.
  • Apply innovation accounting: measure success through outcomes (time-to-productivity, manager adoption, retention gains), not just activity.

What Success Looks Like

  • The Employee Experience roadmap is prioritized, transparent, and delivering measurable impact on engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Employees and managers adopt new frameworks because you drive clarity, influence, and adoption—not just delivery.
  • Global employees feel seen, supported, and included, with equitable access to growth opportunities.
  • Leaders recognize Employee Experience as a strategic advantage directly fueling product and revenue outcomes.

Who You Are

  • Product or Project Management expertise: experienced in roadmaps, sprints, workflows, and cross-functional execution.
  • Background in either Employee Experience/HR OR Product Management — you bring strength from one side and curiosity to build in the other.
  • Skilled at change management: driving adoption and enabling managers to embed new practices.
  • Comfortable working in a global, remote environment, with flexibility for timezone overlaps.
  • Analytical mindset: able to design and own measurement systems, interpret lifecycle data, connect signals to outcomes, and communicate insights.
  • Growth mindset: embraces experimentation, learns fast, and adjusts quickly.
  • Excellent communicator: trusted partner to employees, managers, and executives alike.
