Retailers are already thinking about Holiday 2014. In fact, they started planning and strategizing around Holiday several months ago, and for good reason – just this week, the National Retail Federation (NRF) projected retail sales this November and December to increase 4.1 percent to $616.9 billion.

According to the NRF’s Halloween Consumer Spending Survey, the average person will spend $77.52 on Halloween, and total spending will reach $7.4 billion, making it one of the fastest-growing consumer “holidays.”
Costumes and party-supplies lead the way, and the infographic from Retail Dive, below, lets retailers know what consumers will be buying and when.
