LP leaders from American Apparel, Brookstone, and Tilly’s discuss how they use analytics to reduce theft and promote organizational excellence

NRF LP is coming in June, and I'm very fortunate to be hosting a panel presentation from three experts on the topic of how to use video analytics to cut theft and drive other organizational improvements in the store.  Here is the full session description.

Video Analytics: Using Advanced LP Video to Uncover Lost Profit Opportunities
Wednesday, 06/12/2013 3:15PM – 4:15PM , Room 30 D-E

Description: Just as etailers track shoppers’ actions, in-store video analytics can provide brick-and-mortar retailers with information on customer and employee behavior that can improve bottom line profitability. This session will provide attendees with a look into today’s video analytics to see how some retailers are using yesterday’s video budget to support both loss prevention and retail customer analytics. Through case studies and reviewing video, participants will see how in-store video systems can gather critical information to manage and optimize store performance.
Moderator: Tim Callan (RetailNext, Chief Marketing Officer),
Speaker(s): Kenneth Boremi, CFI, LPC (Brookstone Stores, Dir., Loss Prevention)Michael Burch (Tilly's Clothing & Shoes, Director, Loss Prevention and Safety)Blue Montez (American Apparel, Dir., Asset Protection)

Two of these gentlemen participated in a similar panel session last year, and it was extremely informative.  So if you're going to NRF LP, make sure you attend this session.  And make sure you drop by the RetailNext booth for a live demo at booth # 727.
