SAN JOSE, Calif. - Jan. 13, 2017 - RetailNext Inc., the worldwide market leader in IoT smart store retail analytics for optimizing shopper experiences, today announced new breakthrough capabilities for its industry-leading retail analytics platform, with expanded modules for merchandisers and store operations professionals. RetailNext will be showcasing its innovations during the National Retail Federation's annual The BIG Show, January 15-17 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, in booth #3353.

"As the disruptive pioneer and continual innovator in the retail analytics space, RetailNext is looked upon by its customers to deliver ever-advanced technologies and value-added products, services and solutions," said Alexei Agratchev, chief executive officer and co-founder of RetailNext. "RetailNext's collective entrepreneurial spirit and keen customer focus led Entrepreneur Magazine to rank RetailNext number one on its 2016 Entrepreneur 360 List, and they are the drivers in continually improving upon our SaaS solutions, helping retailers become better retailers."

Expanded Smart Store Analytics Solutions

RetailNext pushes smart store analytics software innovation forward, expanding the capabilities of its hardware-agnostic SaaS platform with the introduction of enhanced modules for merchandising and store operations functions.

For merchandisers, tools are now available in the RetailNext user interface to quickly determine in real-time display and fixture compliance at store locations across the enterprise. "Compliance in pushing out merchandising concepts from prototype to pilot and through to production has always been difficult and time- and travel-intensive for large retail organizations," said Bridget Johns, RetailNext's head of marketing and customer experience. "Now, not only can compliance can be accomplished anywhere and in real-time, but with the power of the complete RetailNext smart store platform, effectiveness can be determined quickly, adjustments can be implemented and A/B tested, and continuous improvements made, measured and monitored as a retailer enhances its shopping experience."

Within store operations, new performance benchmarking and data-driven goal-setting modules equip managers and sales associates with the tools necessary to optimize a shopper's in-store and overall cross-channel shopping experience by delivering engaging, personal and friction-free service. "Sales associate productivity is absolutely critical with the new roles physical stores fill in retail's new cross-channel era," added Johns. "Smart stores already staff optimally around shopper traffic peaks - by day and by hour - but with new goal-setting and performance management capabilities, stores can now schedule and complete tasks around shoppers' needs instead of ahead of shoppers' needs."

Expanded Industry Benchmarking and Reporting

RetailNext has long published a monthly Retail Performance Pulse report detailing brick-and-mortar store performance in continental United States, developing a critical resource for media reporting of retail performance and retail customers benchmarking their stores' performances across the industry and different regions. New in 2017, RetailNext customers can now benchmark their organization's store performance against the entire Retail Performance Pulse data index, striating industry data collected across a variety of store formats and other variables to better understand their own performance compared to stores in and out of their industry segment, as well as against the industry as a whole.

"Understanding store performance in real-time is critical for retailers to make adjustments both to strategies and their tactical execution," continued Johns. "But, performance data taken within the context of macro-level industry performance is more complete, and more complete data sets lead to better questions, better answers and better solutions."

Expanded RetailNext Training Institute Resources

Also new for 2017, RetailNext offers a revamped Training Institute, aimed at equipping RetailNext customers with the knowledge resources necessary to best take advantage of opportunities to design and deliver world-class shopping experiences. Customers can access the entire library of training and support resources, including easy-to-follow video tutorials, from topics ranging from measurement and data analytics to strategies to optimize retail operations.

"The value RetailNext delivers to its customers is largely driven by the continuous development and innovation of its platform to directly address the retail industry's toughest challenges and biggest opportunities," continued Agratchev. "RetailNext's reliable platform offers continual updates and substantial savings in capital and operational expenses, allowing retailers to focus their attention entirely where it needs to be - on shoppers and their desired shopping experiences."

RetailNext is showcasing its full suite of SaaS retail solutions, along with solution integrations from ecosystem partners Myagi, Theatro, ThinkTime, Celect, CloudTags and the Acuitas Digital alliance, through January 17 at The BIG Show in booth #3353.
